Boot Sales

Used to do boot sales years back, when I was really short of dosh,
and got really good at turning crap into cash.
But once there was enough money in the bank to pay for the next
weeks food and bills, the thought of getting up on a cold Sunday morning
at 5am sort of lost it's appeal.

Also the old fashioned boot sale ethic of people clearing out their junk
for quick cash has gone, now it's all dealers and criminals, the last one I
went to was full of foreign types selling mobile phones and accessories,
and people selling the sort of stuff you buy in discount warehouses
(tools that fall apart if you use them), and people who watch
"boot sale challenge" and want to charge you £50 for a bit of old
crockery that you used to be able to pick up for (and was only worth) 20p.
