Gervais

I'm ashamed to say, I used to think he was funny?
I first heard him on the Gary Crowley show on XFM in the mid nineties
when he used to pop into the studio and do some banter with Gary.
Then the Gervais / Steven Merchant show which was mostly funny.

Eventually he found fame with the office, which some people seemed to
like, personally I thought it was awful (but I've never seen the point of
office staff, so I'm biased).
But like Hugh Grant, Gervais is now playing the same character over and
over again, and it's just embarassing.
