What is the fascination with all these DIY meals?Mix it yourself yoghurt, those lunchables with some crackers and a bit of cheese all packaged Separately? and a multitude of others.
A few items and pile of packaging costing about 10 times the price of the items that make them up.
My missus is guilty of buying them, with the excuse that the kids like them (my kids have left school), my mum made me sandwiches (2 bits of bread, some filling, usually cheese or ham, all wrapped in tin foil) which was more than adequate.
Filled me up, and no awkward packaging to get into, and then throw away (I used to get in trouble if I threw the tin foil away!! as it was re-used).
